Last year he started 11th and finished 14th. In 2008, Servia
finished 16th after starting 10th.
- After the Milwaukee IndyFest, Servia joked that he should chill
during the race weekend and just show up for the race. In seven
races, Servia has gained a total of 89 positions (7 positions in
St. Pete to finish 16th, 13 positions in Barber to finish 13th, 7
positions in Long Beach to finish 16th, 12 positions in Brazil to
finish 11th, 23 positions in Indianapolis to finish 4th, 11
positions in Detroit to finish 5th, and 16 positions in Milwaukee
to finish 4th).
- Since making the switch to Chevy power, Panther DRR and Oriol
Servia have earned three top-five results in four races, tying with
a season best of fourth place (was 4th in the Indy 500).
- Oriol started 20th and continuously moved up during the
Milwaukee IndyFest race. He pitted for the first time on lap 61 for
fuel and tires and again on Lap 75 to top off on fuel. Servia came
in on Lap 97 and Lap 169 for fuel and tires. After that stop, he
went from P8 to P4 and was good until the end of the race. On the
Lap 192 restart, Servia passed Helio Castroneves for 3rd position.
He tried to hang onto 3rd, but James Hinchcliffe passed him on Lap
217 and Servia would bring the Charter car home in 4th place. He
qualified 22nd for the Milwaukee IndyFest, but started 20th due to
other cars ahead of him that were penalized.
- Servia will pilot the No. 22 Sandvik Coromant primary livery
for the first time this season. Sandvik Coromant is the
world's leading supplier of tools, tooling solutions and know-ho to

10 in first five races of the season.
Panther DRR
- The team is looking forward to getting back to familiar ground
as they will be visiting Iowa Speedway for the 6th time. In 2007,
Buddy Rice finished 5th after starting 17th and in 2009 both of the
team's cars finished in the top-ten (Scheckter-6th, Conway 9th). In
2008, DRR finished 9th with Graham Rahal and led 11 laps. Last year
Justin Wilson started 12th and finished 12th and Ana Beatriz
started 18th and finished 23rd.
- Panther DRR tested at Iowa Speedway last week and had a very
successful two-day test in preparation for the race.
- It was announced in May that the Indianapolis-based squad has
united with two-time IndyCar Series champion Panther Racing to form
a strategic alliance on Oriol Servia's entry for the remainder of
the 2012 season. The No. 22 Panther/DRR team will utilize Panther's
second Chevrolet engine lease and work in conjunction with the No.
4 National Guard team and driver JR Hildebrand.
Oriol Servia, No. 22 Panther DRR, on the Iowa Corn
Indy 250: "I don't want to be too optimistic,
but honestly we had the best test that I've had in a long time on
an oval. I'm very, very happy with how we finished. Hopefully,
everything translates to this weekend if it's hotter or if the
conditions change. I think that we have a great base and we're
going to work at it and hopefully start closer to the front and
finish farther at the front."
Back on Track: Panther DRR
will be back on track this weekend for the Iowa Corn Indy 250 in
Newton, Iowa. The race is scheduled at 10:00 pm ET. Live coverage
will be on the NBC Sports Network and the IMS Radio Network. Please
